International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically rigorous curriculum which boldly prepares students for university and life beyond. IB is the primary programme of study at AAS. Enrolment in the Diploma Programme is open to all AAS students.
Our mission at AAS focuses on student achievement. The IB Diploma Programme provides a part of who students become at AAS Moscow. The curriculum in Grades 9 and 10 is aligned to support our students who start the Diploma Programme in grade 11. AAS’ Standards and Benchmarks provide the foundation for learning, and the Diploma Programme then opens the world of opportunity.
The Diploma Programme is a two-year programme in which students study a broad range of topics over six areas. In addition to the six subjects, the core of IB is the IB Learner Profile. The Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) provide a platform for interdisciplinary study. Please follow the links to the IB DP Curriculum, IB DP Results, and CAS Guide in the left menu to read more about the Diploma Programme at AAS.
The Diploma Programme helps students to attain individual academic and holistic excellence. For more information regarding the International Baccalaureate Programme, please see www.ibo.org.
