Accreditation

The Anglo-American School of Moscow is fully accredited by the following organizations:

New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)

Commission on American and International Schools Abroad (CAISA)

From NEASC:

Accreditation by NEASC indicates that a school meets or exceeds established criteria within the profession for the assessment of institutional quality through a periodic process of self-study and peer review.  An  accredited school has the resources to achieve its stated purposes and provides evidence that its students are benefiting from the curricular and co-curricular program offered at the school.

CAISA Accreditation means meeting high level, challenging standards, which are designed specifically by and for American / international schools.

Council of International Schools
 (CIS)

From CIS:

The Council of International Schools is the premier worldwide accreditation organisation for international schools. Through its professional staff of Regional Accreditation Officers, backed by a team of administrative personnel and CIS volunteers, the Accreditation Service manages an Accreditation Programme which encourages teaching and learning focused school improvement through a process of continuous Self-Study and Peer Visitor evaluation. The final award of Accredited Status demonstrates that a member school has achieved high standards of professional performance in international education and has a commitment to continuous improvement.

International Baccalaureate Organization

From the IBO:

Schools that have been authorized by us to offer one or more of our programmes are known as "IB World Schools".

These schools:
- share the mission and commitment of the IB to quality international education
- play an active and supporting role in the worldwide community of IB schools
- share their knowledge and experience in the development of the IB programmes
- are committed to the professional development of teachers.

Authorization to become an IB World School is an intensive process that typically takes two or more years and includes site visits by an IB team. A regular process of evaluation is undertaken by schools that have been authorized.

Accreditation demonstrates that the high-quality education offered at AAS exceeds the high standards set out by these institutions, preparing our students to excel in their further education at schools and universities worldwide.

In addition, AAS is a member of the following school associations:

- National Association of Independent Schools
- European Council of International Schools
