Activities, Aquatics, and Athletics:
The Anglo-American School of Moscow offers a wide variety of activities, aquatics, and athletics options for High School students. The HS Penguin Life program is divided into three seasons: Fall, Winter and Spring. The goal of the program is to provide students with the opportunity to grow, learn, and have fun.
High School students take part in a variety of Central & Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) and other international events each school year. These include various sports including soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball, tennis, swimming, water polo, and cross country, as well as co-curricular activity events such as math competitions, speech & debate and Knowledge Bowl Tournaments, Model United Nations, music, drama and art festivals. We also annually take part in several international Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, such as PAMUN, HELIMUN and BEIMUN. Each year, AAS hosts a minimum of five international events and several local tournaments. These programs are all listed in our High School Activities, Aquatics, and Athletics brochure.

By accepting membership in the Penguin Life program, students and their families also accept responsibility for providing accommodation for visiting teams through the Penguin Host Program.

Our Penguin Clubs program is an after school program that is coordinated by the Penguin Life Department. Penguin Clubs are non-competitive in nature and are intended to provide additional extra-curricular opportunities for our students, complement their general program of studies, and further develop their emotional, social and physical health. Penguin Clubs are sponsored by AAS teachers and include sports, interest clubs, games, arts and crafts etc.
