Summer Camps at AAS  (Summer 2017)

Penguin Life is pleased to announce that Camp Adventure and AAS Summer Tennis Camp are back.


Camp Adventure: For Ages 6-10  (Summer 2017)  

Camp Adventure™ Child & Youth Services is headquartered at the University of Northern Iowa. It has been operating youth recreation programs since 1985. The counselors are college-age students from the University of Northern Iowa and other partner universities and colleges in the United States. The program prides itself on the combination of professionalism and genuine caring that each counselor brings to each child.

The day camp program at AAS begins June 26 and runs through July 28, 2017. The program is structured for children 6 -10 years old. Camp Adventure is open to all: you do not have to be an AAS student to attend. Program activities include weekly field trips, swimming, arts and crafts, songs, games and individual age group activities. Participants can be registered for a minimum of one week and a maximum of five weeks. The cost of participation is $200 per week, to be submitted to the school cashier at AAS.  Payment is non-refundable and is due to the AAS cashier before June 21.  Tennis Camp: For Ages 5-18  (Summer 2017)  

Full Day Tennis Camp and Master Development Camps include weekly tennis, indoor activities, swimming, prizes,competitions, camp singles and doubles tournament, prizes, t-shirt, player evaluation, awards ceremony and an end of the week pizza party. Campers will be grouped according to age or ability level.

Tennis camp gives priority to AAS students. Non-AAS students may take part if space is available. The cost of participation is listed below, to be submitted to the school cashier at AAS or on-line when sign up. Non refundable deposit is due at time of registration. Remaining non-refundable balance is due to the AAS cashier before June 14.
